With the addition of two grinds and new loft offerings, the s159 wedges represent our most versatile wedge line to date, significantly advancing wedge performance and expanding fitting options. Extensive testing with PING tour players helped create wedges that will appeal to golfers of all abilities.
The 8620 carbon steel head is cast to an eye-pleasing shape with a more-square lead edge, especially beneficial on full shots. An elastomer insert behind the face contributes to the soft and responsive feel.
At address, the compact head features an improved hosel transition with constant offset that blends seamlessly into the new Blueprint S and T irons.
Wheel-cut grooves are precision-milled to varying dimensions, depending on loft. The 54-to-62-degree options feature more tightly spaced MicroMax grooves. The 46-to-52-degree wedges have a 20-degree sidewall, milled to maximize groove volume for greater control on full shots.
In combination with the friction-adding face blast, the s159 wedges deliver the launch and spin control to play score-lowering wedge shots from every distance.

New “B” Grind: For a shallow angle of attack and neutral face delivery. Low-bounce design sits low on the turf on square face shots, providing forgiveness via the sole width to deliver score-lowering performance in firmer conditions. Available in 58°, 60°
“T” Grind: Our most versatile option allows players to manipulate the face for shot-making precision around the greens. Ideal for medium to firm turf conditions. We’ve added a 62-degree at the request of our tour pros for more versatility. Available in 58°, 60°, 62° (new)
“W” Grind: Maximum forgiveness through the turf. Best fits a steep angle of attack who might also have a lot of handle lean and a player who prefers the look of a specialty wedge but relies on a little more forgiveness in their scoring clubs. Available in 54°, 56°, 58°, 60°
“E” or Eye2 Grind: Continues to be the ultimate bunker club, carrying on a 40-year tradition of helping golfers get up and down from the sand. It plays with relatively low bounce on square or slightly open face shots. Available in 54°, 56°, 58°, 60°
“S” Grind: Fits a wide variety of conditions and techniques. Designed with ample bounce in the mid-section to play full shots and provides greenside versatility due to heel/trail edge relief. New 48-degree option helps in gapping. Available in 46°, 48° (new), 50°, 52°, 54°, 56°, 58°, 60°

UK Deliveries
For all Club orders within the UK, we use a 1-2 Working Day (when ordered before 12 Noon) service (excludes weekends) with the Royal Mail, DPD, UPS networks. Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands, Northern Wales and Northern Scotland will often be 2 days and premium service a.m deliveries cannot unfortunately be met by UPS in these areas.
The charge for this premium delivery service is only £6.95 per order. You will receive an email from the courier on the evening of dispatch with your tracking number and full tracking facilities on this service. Please note to check your spam/junk email if you do not receive your tracking details from the courier. We have opted against offering a lower priced, slower inferior service, to give you complete satisfaction in receiving your goods quickly and without hassle.
We will contact you via phone or email should there be any delay, specified custom orders will take 7-10 working days.
We also do not surcharge against any address' in Main Land UK, but charge all UK & Northern Ireland residents the same price regardless of location. On rare occasions approx 1 in 100 the courier will fail for numerous reasons. These failures can be both in and out of their control to meet its next day promise. This was my first time visiting the Golf Store. What a delight! I am new to golf (finally joining the rest of the family!) and was looking for a pair of golf shoes. Dan was very helpful (and patient!) in recommending shoes to try on and I ended up buying a pair almost double the price of the ones I was hoping to buy! I joked with Dan and Joe (other salesman I was having a laugh with) that they should throw in a pair of socks as a sweetener and guess what? Joe did! Went for a full bag fitting at the Silvermere Golf Store and it was a fantastic experience. Neil was brilliant, half fitting, half lesson, and the choice of clubs we went through was second to none. I came away full of confidence both in having hit enough balls and received enough advice to know the clubs were the right ones, but also, to know that I would not go anywhere else but Silvermere to purchase them or for a similar fitting whenever it is next needed.
The clubs were delivered to the shop swiftly and I was kept up-to-date all the way through the process. The pick-up was enjoyable - Barry helped me out and it was just a great experience. The price was as competitive as anywhere else including online.
All in all, I would (and have already) recommend to anyone wanting a fitting and some new clubs - February 2025.
I have previously had an excellent experience and service provided by Colin and his Team - I had the pleasure to visit again yesterday - WOW they are brilliant! I went to the store this past Friday for a putter fitting. I have never had one before and for £40 had no idea what to expect. The level of service and facilities were incredible. The putting room is jam packed full of the latest putters for a variety of budgets but crucially a lot of tech. But the real star of the show was Jack.
He is a stage 2 pro and a real asset to Silvermere. He carefully talked me through the process, what the numbers meant and how that translated through my stroke and my putting. He was patient, calm and at no point tried to push me towards anything other than the best putter for me. I felt safe in the knowledge I had tried out a good range and that Jack had helped me make the right choice. He was brilliant and I will definitely seek out his help next time I visit the store.

After establishing a base to work from with my current 7 iron, we then went through a few different clubs, analysing the data from each shot. Louis then suggested I try Cobra forged tec irons. Again, using feel & data, the cobra came out best time after time, especially reducing my spin rate numbers.
I was dreading a hard sell but the reality couldn’t be further from a hard sell. I had a report printed that showed my new clubs spec & cost. I was also emailed this information along with a link to pay for the clubs once I’d decided to proceed. No hard sell, no frills or pressure.
I can’t recommend a custom fitting at Silvermere highly enough. It was a fantastic experience & whatever you spend on the custom fitting, you get it back when you buy the clubs so you can’t lose. 10/10 from me! - October 2024
The main reason for the review is I had a warranty issue with a pair of FootJoy shoes purchased here. I emailed in and Sarah was very helpful and submitted the appropriate warranty claim, with a bit of back and forth between myself, Sarah and FootJoy with some assistance from management, Sarah managed to source a replacement under warranty. It's the only time I have had to use them for a post-sale issue and the service has been exemplary so thank you and do use Silvermere for any golfing needs - October 2024!
