Came into the shop today with a return, while wondering around with it in my hand a member of staff checked if I was ok and needed any help. He was so friendly and accommodating. Really appreciated his help and how easy it was to make an exchange. Then popped into the fitters with a broken shaft, the gentleman was able to re-shaft my club within half an hour so I didn’t miss my tee time. What a gem - August 2026.

I was extremely happy with the fitting service provided by Jamie. His expertise and knowledge were clearly demonstrated, but I really liked the way he was able to explain the stats in a digestible manner for a relatively new golfer. I had a particular set of clubs that I expected to buy, but Jamie was able to show that they were not going to give the best performance for my technique. I am very happy with the choices that were made and the reasoning behind them. Plenty of options to be fitted. Was fitted for a driver and fairway wood a few weeks ago, this time it was for wedges. I feel the fitter found the perfect wedges for me after trying many options. The confidence it's gives you knowing you have the right clubs for you is worth doing - March 2026.

I had a superb full bag fitting session (2.5hrs) at Silvermere yesterday. Ben the club fitting expert was truly awesome and so knowledgeable. Fantastic range to test all the clubs with REAL golf balls, I could not recommend this service highly enough! I got to hit my club’s first to get some baseline stats, which was super interesting in itself, but this creates a great baseline for everything else I tested. Had a putter fitting at Silvermere and it was a great experience. The session was relaxed, informative, and backed up with clear data, which made it easy to understand what worked best for me. Great experience from start to finish. Dan was super helpful with my custom shoe fitting, very friendly and professional, and happy to let me try on lots of different shoes to get the right fit. Toby was excellent as well, a real golf ball specialist and all-round very helpful. All the staff were knowledgeable, informative, and welcoming. I had an hour with Harvey this morning and it was fantastic; he is very considered in what he is suggesting and helped me be open minded about the options. He explained all the data points in real world terms, and even helped with my putting stroke. Harvey was fantastic and I will be recommending a session with him to lots of people. The data was a revelation. I wasn’t sure if it would make an epic difference but it’s been a revelation. So glad I did it and Harry was wonderful. The time, patience and knowledge of Jamie made the whole experience first class. It really made me feel that the fitting was to get me the best golf club for my ability and not just a sale. This was my first time visiting the Golf Store. What a delight! I am new to golf (finally joining the rest of the family!) and was looking for a pair of golf shoes. Dan was very helpful (and patient!) in recommending shoes to try on and I ended up buying a pair almost double the price of the ones I was hoping to buy! I joked with Dan and Joe (other salesman I was having a laugh with) that they should throw in a pair of socks as a sweetener and guess what? Joe did! Thank you, Dan, and Joe - great partnership which means I may well be back! So, watch out - June 2025!

Went for a full bag fitting at the Silvermere Golf Store and it was a fantastic experience. Neil was brilliant, half fitting, half lesson, and the choice of clubs we went through was second to none. I came away full of confidence both in having hit enough balls and received enough advice to know the clubs were the right ones, but also, to know that I would not go anywhere else but Silvermere to purchase them or for a similar fitting whenever it is next needed.

The clubs were delivered to the shop swiftly and I was kept up-to-date all the way through the process. The pick-up was enjoyable - Barry helped me out and it was just a great experience. The price was as competitive as anywhere else including online.

All in all, I would (and have already) recommend to anyone wanting a fitting and some new clubs - February 2025.

I have previously had an excellent experience and service provided by Colin and his Team - I had the pleasure to visit again yesterday - WOW they are brilliant! Dan, Harry, and Co. were great including their colleague (apologies, I didn't capture her name) in the Outlet Store - ALL helpful - the range of clothing and equipment is second to none - I certainly recommend a visit - January 2025!

I went to the store this past Friday for a putter fitting. I have never had one before and for £40 had no idea what to expect. The level of service and facilities were incredible. The putting room is jam packed full of the latest putters for a variety of budgets but crucially a lot of tech. But the real star of the show was Jack. 

He is a stage 2 pro and a real asset to Silvermere. He carefully talked me through the process, what the numbers meant and how that translated through my stroke and my putting. He was patient, calm and at no point tried to push me towards anything other than the best putter for me. I felt safe in the knowledge I had tried out a good range and that Jack had helped me make the right choice. He was brilliant and I will definitely seek out his help next time I visit the store.

The shop itself is incredible and the level of stock they hold insane. Can't wait to go back - December 2024.

After establishing a base to work from with my current 7 iron, we then went through a few different clubs, analysing the data from each shot. Louis then suggested I try Cobra forged tec irons. Again, using feel & data, the cobra came out best time after time, especially reducing my spin rate numbers.

I was dreading a hard sell but the reality couldn’t be further from a hard sell. I had a report printed that showed my new clubs spec & cost. I was also emailed this information along with a link to pay for the clubs once I’d decided to proceed. No hard sell, no frills or pressure.

I can’t recommend a custom fitting at Silvermere highly enough. It was a fantastic experience & whatever you spend on the custom fitting, you get it back when you buy the clubs so you can’t lose. 10/10 from me! - October 2024

The main reason for the review is I had a warranty issue with a pair of FootJoy shoes purchased here. I emailed in and Sarah was very helpful and submitted the appropriate warranty claim, with a bit of back and forth between myself, Sarah and FootJoy with some assistance from management, Sarah managed to source a replacement under warranty. It's the only time I have had to use them for a post-sale issue and the service has been exemplary so thank you and do use Silvermere for any golfing needs - October 2024!

Since I purchased clubs, the fitting becomes essentially free - September 2026.
